| Opportunities
In this section,
you will find employment, volunteer, and
ministry opportunities in our faith
community.
PLEASE
NOTE
- It may take a few minutes for the Video's
to down load and start to play.
Areas
for continuing service
- Bethany Village:
worship and visit with less mobile residents
and help them get to and from Sunday worship
services at Bethany.
- Centerville Schools:
A wide array of volunteers are always needed
and welcomed. Possibilities include in-class
teacher aides, cafeteria help, outdoor
grounds upkeep and special projects for
outdoor learning activities. Primary
Villages North and South and Tower Heights
Middle School are currently participating
but more are probably on the way, so if want
to serve at a specific school or in with a
particular activity let us know and we can
work it out.
- Hannah's Treasure Chest: help
clean toys and sort clothes for needy
children in the Dayton area.
- Epiphany
Disciples: Help out a fellow Epiphany
disciple in a confidential manner who might
be struggling in various ways. These needs
can include household chores to larger
outdoor projects like landscaping, painting,
and roofing. Service can also include
financial needs as well.
- Community
Residents: help local residents who are
unable to perform various tasks in and
around their home.
- Local Refugees:
Be part
of Epiphany's new ministry to local refugees
most of whom are from Africa. We need folks
interested in teaching English and people to
help with child care during ESL classes.
There will be more service opportunities
with refugees coming soon, so if this is a
ministry you want to be involved in the
future, please let us know.
If you're
interested in serving in any of these ways,
wish to suggest other ways to serve, or want
more information on any of these
possibilities please contact Tim Furry at tfurry@epiphanydayton.org
or call the church
at 433-1449.
