JOLY
(Just Older Lutheran
Youth) is a group ministry for all retired and semi-retired adults of any age. JOLY has a monthly fellowship luncheon on the second Tuesday from September through June. Following the meal there is a program of either a speaker or some form of entertainment. In addition to the monthly lunches there are numerous day trips and excursions planned throughout the year.

Examples of past activities and events include: visiting churches, synagogues and mosques and learning about other faith practices while sharing fellowship. We have had cultural excursions to La Comedia, Dayton Ballet, Dayton Philharmonic and Dayton Opera, field trips to Grandma Moses art exhibit in Columbus, lunch in German Village, Verdin Bell Factory and Museum, Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati, and Boggstown Carbaret in Indiana. All these events are open to ELC disciples and their friends in the community.

EPIPHANY SENIORS ART SHOW
In the past, there has been over 30 Seniors who have exhibited their talents. Many of which have provided as many as six art pieces. During the Seniors Art Show, the items are displayed in the narthex and gathering space. It is quite a show with bonsai culture, ceramics, furniture building and restoration, hooked rugs, oil painting, photography, quilts, sculpture in clay and wood, various forms of textile art, water color, and more. |

Entertainment at a past JOLY luncheon was the Center Stage. This Dayton Show Choir entertained the group and others in the Miami Valley for over 20 years.
