More about Promise Keepers

Promise Keepers is dedicated to building and enhancing our relationship to the Living Savior, Jesus Christ.  It is committed to encouraging Christian men to be faithful, loving, caring husbands and fathers and to actively support the ministry of the local church.  For me, Promise Keepers has built a strong dependence and reliance upon God and the Holy Spirit.  It also has given me the necessary insights, spiritual perspectives, and Biblical foundation for my (His) ministry at Epiphany.

Who is Promise Keepers for?

Promise Keepers is for husbands, fathers, grandfathers, single men, and youth (high school and college).  Dads, it's great to attend and bring your son(s) to Promise Keepers!  Trust me, they'll love it!  In 1995, I attended the conference in Minneapolis with my dad and my oldest son, Jeff.  In 2002 and 2003, I attended with my son, Ryan and my daughter's boyfriend, Jason.  We all had a great time and were truly touched by the Lord.  I consider Promise Keepers a catalyst to ministry for all men.

Why I'm committed to Promise Keepers

Every time I have attended Promise Keepers, I have come back home a changed man.  My wife and my family see it.  My friends see it.  The people that I work with see it.

Our faith is all about us abandoning our old ways and becoming wholly dependent upon Christ for wisdom, discernment, direction for our lives, blessings of our relationships with others, and the provision of spiritual gifts for our ministry to and for Him.  Matthew 6:33 encourages us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and He will provide all other things to us.

One of the greatest blessings that I received this year was to see the faces of the men of Epiphany who attended the conference.  The Holy Spirit used the music, the speakers, and the total fellowship experience to put us on a mountaintop.  Most of us attending have committed to going again next year.  Why?  Because we are committed to serving Christ in our community, which is an integral part of Epiphany's mission.

I invite and challenge each man at Epiphany, regardless of age, to attend a Promise Keepers conference in the next year and experience these things for yourself.

Check out schedules for this year and next at www.promisekeepers.org.  You will only be blessed and filled with the love of Christ.

In His service,
Andy Addy
