Purpose of Ministry: 

DivorceCare for Kids (designed for children ages 7-12) is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents. Best of all, children will learn how God's love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!

Skills, Gifts, Time needed:

DC4K meets weekly on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:45 p.m. in 13-week cycles. There are 3 sessions each year: the Fall Session starts in September, the Winter Session starts in January, and the Summer Session starts in May. If you love children and can commit to one 13-week Session a year, there are no other special gifts that are needed. Training videos are available for those who have never helped before.
