ATTENTION: Registration is now open for 6th grade students who will be starting their confirmation journey this spring. Registration forms are available at the Welcome Centers at both campuses. Students may also register online. Registrations will be accepted until March 4, 2012. There will be a mandatory orientation meeting for all new students and parents on Sunday, March 11th from 3:30-5:00pm. Please plan to attend this meeting for all kinds of important information about your Confirmation Journey at Epiphany!

Confirmation Ministry at Epiphany Lutheran Church is designed to lead young people into a personal, living and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and the Church. Students begin their confirmation journey in March of their 6th grade year and will wrap up with the Rite of Affirmation of Baptism (a Confirmation Celebration) in October of their 9th grade year, on Reformation Sunday.

As part of the program, students are involved in the life of the church, earning service credits, participating in regular worship with their families, and attending Sunday School Classes.  Youth are taught in large groups by staff members of Epiphany and then the lessons become alive through small groups led by adults and high school youth helpers.

Some highlights of the Confirmation Ministry are a spring lock-in at Epiphany for 6th graders and a fall lock-in at Epiphany for 9th graders prior to the Confirmation Celebration as well as a weekend retreat sometime either in 7th or 8th grade (or both!) at one of the LOMO (Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio) camps.
