Q. - We use to know who was preaching each Sunday as it was printed / published ahead of time. I believe it was in the Star. Where do we look to find out ahead of time who is delivering the sermon each Sunday? Could it be part of the Web site?

A. - Thank you for asking the question because you have identified an opportunity to enhance the Epiphany Lutheran web site to better serve our Disciples.  A Preaching Schedule has been added to the main Information Page on the web site.  Click here to go there.  It indicates who will be giving the sermons for two months at a time.

Q. - What synod is Epiphany affiliated with?

A. - Thank you for checking Epiphany out on the web, and thanks for your question.  Epiphany is one of the 200+ churches in the Southern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).   If you think of I-70, the Southern Ohio Synod is pretty much the geographical unit south of it.  The ELCA is the largest Lutheran body in America, with just about 5 million Lutherans.  You can check out ELCA.org for more information about what we’re doing through our national church, and our own website, of course, for Epiphany’s unique view on mission and values.
